The Fender Custom Shop ’54 set uses staggered Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire, with the bridge pickup calibrated for slightly increased output while retaining the clear, bell-like character associated with a vintage-style Strat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe electronics have also been upgraded with 250k CTS\/Fender pots, cloth-covered push-back wire and a Fender 5-way selector switch.
