The Yamaha PACS+12 represents the most tonally flexible model in the Pacifica Standard Plus lineup, designed for players who move between multiple styles, gain structures, and performance environments without wanting to switch instruments. Yamaha built this guitar around modern versatility while maintaining the refined feel and consistency expected from a top-tier Pacifica.

At the center of the PACS+12 is the Reflectone™ pickup system, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. The HSS configuration combines Reflectone HS7n and HS7m single-coils with a Reflectone HH7b bridge humbucker for exceptional balance, clarity, and dynamic control throughout the switching range. A 5-position lever switch provides familiar pickup selection, while the push-pull coil split on the master tone control expands the tonal range of the bridge humbucker.

The alder body incorporates Yamaha’s Acoustic Design body structure and is paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Medium stainless steel frets provide excellent durability and a smooth playing feel, while the Gotoh 510T FE-1 tremolo and Gotoh locking tuners deliver dependable tuning stability and expressive performance capability.

The translucent Fired Red finish gives the PACS+12 a premium vintage-inspired look, complemented by a 4-ply white pearloid pickguard. The rich red finish adds distinctive visual character while keeping the focus on the guitar’s refined construction, premium hardware, and player-focused design.
