Made in Japan, the Yamaha PACP12 Pacifica Professional brings together Yamaha's Acoustic Design body construction, Reflectone™ pickups developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, and an HSS pickup layout built to cover a wide range of sounds.
The alder body is shaped using Yamaha's Acoustic Design process to improve resonance and the transfer of vibration between the neck and body. A slim C-shape maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, carved neck joint heel, and 10"–14" compound radius make the PACP12 comfortable for chords, bends, and lead playing across the full neck.
The Reflectone™ HSS pickup set combines two single coils with a bridge humbucker. A 5-position selector provides the core pickup combinations, while the push-pull coil split adds another option from the bridge pickup. The master volume also includes a high-pass circuit to help retain clarity as the volume is lowered.
Gotoh locking tuners, a Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo, medium stainless-steel frets, and Yamaha's I.R.A. treatment complete a guitar that's equally at home on stage, in the studio, or wherever you spend the most time playing.
Finished in Desert Burst, the PACP12 includes a Yamaha hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.
