The Yamaha PACS+12M represents one of the most versatile and performance-focused guitars in the Pacifica Standard Plus lineup, designed for players who demand clarity, responsiveness, and modern flexibility across multiple playing styles. Yamaha built this model as a complete professional platform, balancing refined feel, advanced pickup engineering, and premium hardware into a highly adaptable instrument for studio and stage use.
At the center of the PACS+12M is the Reflectone™ pickup system, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. The HSS configuration combines Reflectone HS7n and HS7m single-coils with a Reflectone HH7b bridge humbucker for exceptional balance, articulation, and dynamic consistency throughout the switching range. A 5-position lever switch provides familiar pickup selection, while the push-pull coil split on the master tone control expands the tonal range of the bridge humbucker.
The alder body incorporates Yamaha’s Acoustic Design body structure and is paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. Medium stainless steel frets provide excellent durability and a smooth playing feel, while the Gotoh 510T FE-1 tremolo and Gotoh locking tuners deliver dependable tuning stability and expressive performance capability.
The Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish gives the PACS+12M a classic, timeless appearance, complemented by a black pickguard. The warm sunburst finish pairs naturally with the maple fingerboard and premium hardware, giving the guitar a refined traditional look while retaining the modern performance character of the Pacifica Standard Plus platform.
